Moving to a place with a different language can be extremely difficult. One facet is the spiritual lack. Sitting in a classroom and watching as your classmates animatedly argue hashkafa with the teacher is entertaining, but it’s more fun and impactful to be a part of the discussion! It’s hard to gain from speeches and programming schools arrange when it’s all too confusing and mentally draining to follow.

 

Our goal for the chavruta program is to give new olim another outlet to learn Torah, by setting up new olim with other new olim.
